KOLB
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California since 2008. I earned my undergrad in Psychology from University of San Diego, and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University.
I specialize in assisting pre-teens, teens, and young adults as they navigate an array of life challenges and mental health concerns. These include life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, and family difficulties. I also provide support for coping strategies, parenting for new parents, managing the repercussions of the pandemic, and addressing problems associated with teens' use of social media.
My approach is client centered and strength based, with a wholistic lens, integrating cognitive behavioral and mindfulness counseling. I find it rewarding to support individuals through their process of self-growth, change and reaching their goals.
My counseling style is warm and empathetic, providing a safe space to explore and process feelings. I tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique needs.
I am a dedicated mother of two, a certified Pilates instructor, and a firm believer in the mind-body connection.
